Content
A corporate culture built on traditional values and obsolete economic structures hinders development and success in changing economic situations; processes become static and managers and employees are unable to respond flexibly to changes.
Recent developments in sciences and technical areas, and social change that affect all areas of life in a seemingly aimless way, as well as fundamental changes in the world economy can only be grasped by looking at the connections between all areas.
This requires an interdisciplinary, systemic approach, in order to understand the basic guiding and regulative principles of systems, such as society, economy, culture, etc.

It is a well-known fact that economic structures have seen vast changes in the past decades. Equally, many training and educational measures have failed to achieve the anticipated effects.
So far, causes were expected to in conventional areas, such as contents, methodologies, media, interaction between participants and trainers. However, if quality is ensured and if participants' learning abilities are not substandard, the problems must originate elsewhere:

Experience is limitation
Knowledge deprives of power

These are provocative statements, but yet more than semi-truthful!
An individual's structures of thought are developed in processes that take many years.
Today innovative training and educational concepts are delivered to the existing structures of thought and knowledge of learners.
The individual's experience and knowledge management often blocks connections between innovative contents and existing knowledge.

Transparency of thought and knowledge structures is vital for acquiring innovative contents.
Similar incompatibilities can often be found in discrepancies of corporate culture and organization versus modern economical structures.
Planning and frequent corporate restructuring has not provided the desired effects.
The underlying principle is that systemic organizational development requires systemic personnel development.

Training and educational programs for organizational development and personnel development have been devised based on system theory and the theory of controlling and regulating processes (cybernetics).
These programs foster innovative thinking and action within changing environments, by providing understanding of links and control mechanisms.
